Today is the Blueberry Festival in downtown Nacogdoches. Blueberries will be celebrated in all manner of ways. Especially attractive to the citizens of Nacogdoches are the blueberry pancakes, cooked and provided by the Nacogdoches Kiwanis Club. This starts at 8 AM and you’ll want to get there early. There will be shuttle buses to take folks out to The Blueberry Place in the Carrizo Creek Estates off of Hwy 451. The shuttle runs from 8 AM to 2 PM and can be boarded on the corner of North Church Street and Main.
